About the Role: As MSP Sales Manager your primary goal is to drive revenue growth by creating new sales opportunities and serving as the technical authority throughout the sales lifecycle. The MSP Sales Manager partners closely with Operations, and Leadership to design, position, and present managed IT, cloud, security, and telecommunications solutions aligned with the company’s service portfolio and customer business objectives. The MSP Sales Manager will be hands-on within managed services environments, understanding MSP operations and service delivery, and can translate complex technical concepts into clear business value. This role participates in discovery, solution architecture, pricing strategy, and post-sale transition to ensure seamless customer experience. The MSP Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and creating new sales opportunities while serving as the technical authority throughout the sales lifecycle. Responsibilities: • Identify and obtain MSP revenue opportunities, bringing in $5,000 per month post ramp up • Support the full sales lifecycle from technical discovery through solution design, proposal development, presentation, and deal closure. • Conduct technical assessments to understand customer environments, operational challenges, and business goals. • Design scalable MSP solutions including, but not limited to, managed IT services, cloud platforms, security solutions, backup and recovery, and connectivity services. • Serve as the subject matter expert during customer meetings, presentations, and solution reviews. • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Service Delivery teams to ensure solutions are operationally sound, scalable, and margin aligned. • Develop pricing models, service bundles, and solution architectures that balance customer needs with profitability. • Translate technical solutions into clear, customer-focused value propositions. • Support vendor selection, product positioning, and technical differentiation. • Assist with RFP responses, statements of work, and technical documentation. • Provide consistent feedback to the VP of Sales to ensure that sales, service, and product strategies are executed. • Ensure smooth handoff from Sales to Operations by supporting onboarding and post-sale transition. • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications: • BA/BS University degree with a concentration in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred. • 5+ years of experience in managed services, IT operations, or telecommunications. • Proven experience supporting MSP sales engagements including discovery, solution design, and customer presentations. • Strong understanding of MSP operations, service delivery models, and SLA-driven environments. • Experience with cloud services, security solutions, backup and recovery, and modern IT infrastructure. Required Skills: • Confident self-starter capable of engaging customers at both technical and executive levels. • Strong technical knowledge to lead discovery sessions and solution discussions. • Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills. • Time management and strategic planning abilities.
