Director of Data and Business Intelligence, Need Python – Work From Home This Director of Data and Business Intelligence position is a 100% Remote opportunity. As the Director of Data and BI, you will be utilizing both your interpersonal and hands-on technical skills to effectively lead a team of data scientists, engineers, and analysts in building out business-wide data processes. You will be the go-to data expert that is confident in bringing fresh, innovative ideas and coaching the team to success. You’ll be collaborating closely with strategic stakeholders in product, marketing, engineering and sales. We are looking for someone, highly organized and process-oriented who is intellectually curious, puts the team first, experienced in designing high quality products, has extensive experience in data engineering technology and processes and is interested in the cannabis industry. The job requires a self-motivated individual who is comfortable working in a startup with a fast pace and deeply committed team and enjoys learning and using technology to solve real-world problems. Qualifications: – 8+ years in Software Engineering, Business Intelligence and/or Data Science. – Need experience with Python. – Excellent quantitative skills. – Expertise in cloud-based and data technologies i.e., Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, big Query, Airflow, DBT, Looker, Tableau, Sigma. – Fluent in SQL and Python. – Comfortable with Data Science practice and ML-based workflows. – Strong verbal and written communication skills.
