Role Overview: As a Program/Technical SME (Client Relationships) in the Federal Civilian Market, you will play a pivotal role in driving business development efforts and fostering long-term relationships with federal clients. Your expertise will guide agencies in solving complex challenges while positioning Next Phase Solutions as a trusted partner. What You'll Do: - You will lead key business development initiatives targeting federal civilian agencies. - You will build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with federal clients. - You will provide technical and programmatic expertise to support proposal development and project execution. - You will collaborate with internal teams to align solutions with client needs and market trends. - You will identify new opportunities and contribute to the growth of our federal portfolio. - You will represent the company at industry events and client meetings. - You will analyze federal market dynamics to inform strategic planning. - You will mentor junior staff and share best practices in client engagement. What You Bring: - Minimum of 7 years of experience in federal civilian market business development or program management. - Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes and regulations. - Proven ability to build and sustain client relationships in a government environment. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Technical background with experience in IT or related federal programs. - Demonstrated leadership and strategic thinking abilities. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working directly with multiple federal civilian agencies. - Prior success in winning government contracts and managing large-scale programs. - Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or related credentials. - Familiarity with emerging technologies impacting federal agencies.
