As a Lead AWS Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions that support our federal clients' mission objectives. You will lead technical teams, ensure compliance with security standards, and drive cloud adoption strategies to enhance operational efficiency and security. What You'll Do: - You will lead the design and deployment of scalable, secure AWS cloud architectures tailored to federal requirements. - You will manage and mentor a team of cloud engineers, fostering professional growth and technical excellence. - You will collaborate with cybersecurity teams to integrate security best practices into cloud solutions. - You will oversee cloud migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption and adherence to timelines. - You will develop automation scripts and infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation. - You will monitor cloud environments for performance, security, and cost optimization. - You will maintain compliance with federal regulations and security frameworks such as FedRAMP and NIST. - You will communicate technical concepts effectively to stakeholders and provide regular project updates. What You Bring: - You have 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with at least 4 years focused on AWS. - You possess strong expertise in AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, and IAM. - You have hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation. - You hold a relevant AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional). - You have experience working in federal or highly regulated environments. - You demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. - Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and tools. - Familiarity with additional cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud. - Security clearance or eligibility for clearance.
