Role Overview: As a Part-Time Full Stack Developer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our federal modernization proposal efforts. This position is ideal for software engineers seeking flexible, part-time work during the proposal phase, contributing to the development and refinement of technical solutions. What You'll Do: - You will develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components of web applications. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and secure software solutions. - You will assist in the preparation of technical proposal materials by providing accurate and detailed software development insights. - You will troubleshoot and resolve software defects to ensure high-quality deliverables. - You will participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes. - You will stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices relevant to federal modernization. - You will support integration of third-party APIs and services as needed. What You Bring: - You have 3+ years of experience in full stack development with proficiency in JavaScript, React, Node.js, and RESTful APIs. - You have experience working in a hybrid or remote environment with strong self-management skills. - You have a solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies. - You have excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - You have familiarity with federal government contracting or modernization projects is preferred. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. - Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards. - Prior experience contributing to government proposals or contracts. - Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
