Role Overview: As a Part-Time Full Stack Developer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our federal modernization proposal efforts. This position is ideal for software engineers seeking flexible, part-time work during the proposal phase, contributing to the development and refinement of technical solutions. What You'll Do: - You will develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components of web applications. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and secure software solutions. - You will assist in the preparation of technical proposal materials and documentation. - You will troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues. - You will participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. - You will stay updated on emerging technologies relevant to federal modernization efforts. - You will contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools. What You Bring: - You have 3+ years of experience in full stack development with proficiency in JavaScript, React, Node.js, and Python. - You have experience working in a hybrid or remote environment, preferably within the Maryland, DC, or Virginia area. - You possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. - You have excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - You are familiar with federal government contracting and proposal processes (preferred). Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. - Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards. - Prior experience supporting federal modernization projects. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
