Role Overview: As a Part-Time Full Stack Developer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our federal modernization proposal efforts. This position is ideal for software engineers seeking flexible, part-time work during the proposal phase, contributing to the development and refinement of software solutions that meet federal requirements. What You'll Do: - You will develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components of web applications. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and efficient software solutions. - You will assist in the preparation and technical review of federal modernization proposals. - You will write clean, maintainable code following best practices and coding standards. - You will participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. - You will troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues promptly. - You will contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team. - You will adapt quickly to changing project requirements and deadlines. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in full stack development. - Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks such as React or Angular. - Strong experience with back-end technologies like Node.js, Python, or Java. - Familiarity with RESTful APIs and database management (SQL or NoSQL). - Experience working in Agile development environments. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a hybrid setting. Bonus Points If You Have: - Prior experience supporting federal government proposals or projects. - Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. - Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes. - Understanding of cybersecurity best practices relevant to federal projects.
