Role Overview: As an RF Spectrum Engineer, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and certifying radio frequency spectrum usage to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards. Your expertise will support critical projects that impact national security and communication infrastructure. What You'll Do: - You will conduct detailed radio frequency analysis and spectrum certification for various communication systems. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement spectrum management strategies. - You will troubleshoot and resolve spectrum interference issues to maintain system integrity. - You will prepare technical reports and documentation to support project requirements and compliance. - You will stay updated on industry standards and regulatory changes affecting spectrum usage. - You will participate in field testing and data collection to validate spectrum performance. - You will provide technical guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders. What You Bring: - You bring at least 5 years of experience in RF spectrum engineering or a related field. - You have strong knowledge of radio frequency analysis tools and spectrum management software. - You possess a solid understanding of FCC regulations and spectrum certification processes. - You have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - You demonstrate effective communication skills for technical reporting and team collaboration. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working on national security or government communication projects. - Familiarity with software-defined radio (SDR) technologies. - Certifications related to RF engineering or spectrum management. - Experience with field testing and data acquisition equipment.
