Our Headquarters are located in Brooklyn, New York though you can be based in your local market. Overnight travel will be required to support our current and future customer base. Profile: Eastern / Western Business Development Team Leader You will lead Business Development activities including helping our customers grow their business and helping lead up our Broker, Merchandising and Trade Team fostering and growing existing business relationships while developing new ones, creating symbiotic win-win partnerships. Field time visiting customers at HQ and store level three to four days a week including some overnight travel to help build additional markets. Your primary areas of purview will consist of: ☼ Nurture and build existing and new customer relationships ☼ Leadership and support of our Business Development Team, Brokers and Merchandising team members ☼ Support of our Trade Marketing Team and Initiatives ☼ Engineer winning strategies to meet and surpass sales budgets by account The ideal candidate will possess: o Positive Attitude: We believe this is the most important gateway drug to long term chemical dependency on positive results:) o Excellent Leadership Skills: Ability to nurture and build a dynamic team and multitude of symbiotic business partnerships based on honesty, integrity, strong communication and great follow up. o Strong analytical and metric minded approach to building business o Outgoing personality, with excellent interpersonal skills and self-motivation o Vision: Long-range foresight with a can-do approach to turn goals into accomplishments o Open mindedness to learn, be coached and grow within a growing organization o Experience with Business Development in the organic or natural retail sector o Simultaneous multi-brand-building or Brokerage experience o Pertinacious work ethic while having fun! o Skills in Excel, Power Point, CRMs o A Passion for healthy, great tasting food and drink Requirements: ☼ Positive minded, kind-hearted and outgoing personality ☼ Ability to inspire by leading from the front and to nurture an environment where success is built on great teamwork ☼ Relationship driven focus coupled with a measure to manage approach ☼ Overnight travel, 1-2 trips per month ☼ Excellent communication both verbally and in writing ☼ Efficient time management skills ☼ A well organized, self-starter The Opportunity: This is an outstanding opportunity to take on a key role within a dynamic growing organization dedicated to innovative organic and natural food/bev products, top-flight service, team harmony and group success.
