Conduct data analysis and research in space situational awareness, presenting findings and leading projects.
Current undergraduate researcher with skills in Python, data analysis, and statistical methods, but lacking specific experience in operations research, optimization, marketing modeling, and the advanced tools/platforms required.
Role: Senior Data Scientist / Optimization Specialist REMOTE Experience: 7 10 years in advanced analytics, with at least 3 5 years focused on OR and optimization in marketing or retail contexts. Here are the must-have skills and qualifications we recommend: Operations Research & Optimization Expertise: Strong foundation in mathematical programming (linear, nonlinear, integer) and experience with stochastic modeling. Marketing Mix Modeling: Proven experience building and validating MMM for retail or consumer-facing businesses. Advanced Analytics & Programming: Proficiency in Python or R, with hands-on experience using optimization libraries such as Pyomo, Gurobi, or CPLEX. Statistical & Machine Learning Knowledge: Expertise in regression, time-series analysis, and causal inference. Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with retail marketing strategies, pricing, and promotional planning. Tools & Platforms: Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms (e.g., Azure ML, Databricks) and visualization tools.
