Data Scientist - Operations Research & Optimization Expert Location: Remote Contract Type: W2 Only Duration: 6 Months with possible extension Role: Senior Data Scientist / Optimization Specialist Experience: 7 10 years in advanced analytics, with at least 3 5 years focused on OR and optimization in marketing or retail contexts. Operations Research & Optimization Expertise: Strong foundation in mathematical programming (linear, nonlinear, integer) and experience with stochastic modeling. Marketing Mix Modeling: Proven experience building and validating MMM for retail or consumer-facing businesses. Advanced Analytics & Programming: Proficiency in Python or R, with hands-on experience using optimization libraries such as Pyomo, Gurobi, or CPLEX. Statistical & Machine Learning Knowledge: Expertise in regression, time-series analysis, and causal inference. Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with retail marketing strategies, pricing, and promotional planning. Tools & Platforms: Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms (e.g., Azure ML, Databricks) and visualization tools.
