The Director of Sales, Account Management will lead the sales organization that focuses on cross-selling and upselling Bluehost’s products and services to existing customers through a data-supported, consultative sales approach. Your creativity and leadership skills will directly impact Bluehost’s growth by increasing the average revenue per customer and improving customer retention rates. What you do and how you’ll make your mark: Establish a pipeline of opportunities though customer data mining, sales & marketing promotions and cross-department referrals. Manage a team of Sales Managers and Sales Representatives through weekly 1:1s, ongoing training, and performance management. Your direct impact will be seen through individual Sales Representative and Team success month to month. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, most specifically incremental monthly reoccurring revenue (MRR) from existing customers. You will also be on top of performance metrics, such as Sales Rep activity, conversion rates, pipeline health, etc. Partner with Marketing team(s) to create and refine sales enablement content and customer facing sales content. Engage with executive leadership to report on performance, forecast outcomes and collaborate around initiatives. Who you are & what you’ll need to succeed: Current sales management/leadership experience is required, preferably at the Director level. 5+ years of demonstrated selling success. SaaS, PaaS or Tech Sales is required, with Hosting experience preferred. Experience building teams by hiring top talent, performance management of team members and retaining top performers. Cross-functional agility. Partner with Product, Marketing and Customer Success to share feedback, improve selling content and collaborate on selling opportunities. Operational rigor. You will be at ease in a high velocity environment and comfortable with managing pipeline activity, accurately forecasting outcomes and quickly responding to changing market dynamics.
