Experience in event production and operations, managing brand activations, coordinating with city officials, strong leadership and communication skills, and immediate availability for an 8-week contract.
(Contract – 8 Weeks; with potential to be full time) We are seeking a Head of Event Operations / Event Producer to lead production on a major upcoming event. This is a contract role beginning immediately for an 8-10 week engagement leading up to event. • Lead all operations and production for upcoming New York Dog Parade event • Help oversee event logistics: crowd control, barricades, staging, and vendor coordination. • Coordinate with brands and sponsors on activations, ensuring smooth setup and execution. • Serve as the point of contact for brands and media partners • Manage production timelines, budgets, and deliverables in the weeks leading up to the event. • Recruit, train, and lead staff/volunteers on parade day. • Collaborate with internal leadership on sponsorship integration and creative vision. Qualifications • Experience in production, operations, logistics, and production management. • Experience working directly with brands, clients, and sponsors on event activations. • Ability to coordinate with city agencies and officials. • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills. • Available to start immediately and commit through end of October • Passion for NYC community events • Must love dogs Details • Contract Duration: 8 weeks, starting immediately • Location: New York, NY (on-site required) • Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experience
