ROLE DESCRIPTION: This is a fully-remote internship for an AI Mobile Application Developer. The full-stack AI platform being used for this internship is LOVABLE. Experience using this platform is a big plus. The perfect candidate is either in their final year, or a recent grad of a world-class App Developer college program. You may also be a great candidate if you've taken an advanced, specialized, intensive, (non-college) immersive App Developer course. IMPORTANT: It is crucial you have extensive, manual coding experience since with any AI platform, you will periodically get stuck –which requires coding to get unstuck and continue developing. The AI Mobile App Developer Intern will be responsible for developing a mobile app that will also live on a website. This role involves working closely with the Executive Creative Director of NYA as well as designers and product managers to build a working, high-quality mobile app with responsibilities that include debugging and optimizing application performance to ensure a seamless user experience. This is not a cliche, spectator internship spent making copies & coffee. This is a REAL job where you'll develop and bring to life a REAL, fully-functioning app while learning and being inspired working closely with the globally-awarded CEO & Executive Creative Director of NYA. The internship lasts six weeks with daily check-ins & creative reviews. (no weekend work!) Candidates will receive a certificate upon completion. Art direction/design skills is a big plus but this is NOT an App "Designer" position. This is an AI App Developer position focused on taking wireframes from the designer and turning them into a working application. The App Developer will build the user interface and also create APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) to interface with third-party systems – such as payment processing, etc. We're looking for that ninja level talent that knows how to make everything & anything in an app function seamlessly–thanks to brilliant AI platforms like LOVABLE. The ideal candidate is someone who's versatile and sees themselves more as a Full-Stack App Developer with a great handle on both Front-End & Back-End app development. Who knows...this can develop into something longer-term. MUST-HAVE Qualifications: • A portfolio showcasing App Development experience such as functional mobile apps you've created in either a course or for the real world. (Beta is fine) • Experience in iOS Development. iPhone will be the focus • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills BONUS SKILLS (Not required but nice to have) • Experience using industry-standard full-stack app frameworks & technologies such as Kotlin and Swift • Bonus programs experience: React, Flutter, Ionic (Front-End) • Bonus expertise in languages such as; Ruby, Python, NodeJS, Typescript, .Net or PHP.
