Partner with educational leaders to manage financial performance, lead budgeting and forecasting, develop financial models, and improve reporting tools.
Bachelor’s in finance or accounting, 7+ years of experience in finance, expertise with financial systems and BI tools, proven budgeting and forecasting skills, and strong relationship-building abilities.

This role blends strategic analysis with hands-on financial leadership to ensure our services remain impactful, sustainable, and student centered. What You'll Need Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, with MBA or CPA preferred Minimum seven (7) years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting functions Expertise with financial planning systems, general ledger platforms, BI tools, and Microsoft Office Proven experience leading budgeting and forecasting across multiple operating units Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations Demonstrated commitment to accuracy, timeliness, and continuous improvement in financial processes Strong relationship-building skills to align financial plans with operational and development partners What You'll Do Partner with school and program leaders to ensure financial performance aligns with expectations Lead budgeting, forecasting, and results analysis to guide operational and strategic decisions Develop models and recommendations that support new program development and investment choices Build pricing analyses and provide input that strengthens pricing decisions across the portfolio Create tools, processes, and reporting that improve staffing and compensation management Promote adoption and effective use of financial and operational reporting tools across teams Serve as a key liaison to revenue cycle, purchasing, compensation, and other financial services New Story is an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
