Title: Digital Fundraising Manager Salary: $80,000 Classification: Exempt Location: Virtual located anywhere, preferably with roots in/connections to any of the following states: AL, AR, FL, GA, KY, LA, MS, NC, SC, OK, TN, TX, VA, WV Travel: Up to 25% (about once a quarter) WHO WE ARE At New Disabled South (501c3), we are building a coalition across the South that centers the needs and daily experiences of disabled people. Our mission is to improve the lives of disabled people and cultivate strong disability rights and disability justice frameworks in the South. We do this by: Organizing our communities around the most critical issues we face Tracking legislation and policy that directly affects disabled people and educating our communities on its impacts Advancing legislative priorities that center our wellbeing and liberation Leading research on key issues Changing media and social narratives about disabled people Through this work, we impact the allocation of resources in our states, increase our collective power, and make this country a better place for us to live. We do this all with the lives and experiences of disabled people at the center (nothing about us without us). WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, we’re looking for a values-aligned, creative, and detail-oriented Digital Fundraising Manager to lead our digital campaigns that grow our base of grassroots donors. This person will be responsible for email solicitations, online donations, donor journeys, online campaigns, and supporting key moments throughout the year like Giving Tuesday and year-end fundraising. You will help tell our story and deepen support for our work, centering the voices of Black, Brown, Indigenous, poor, and rural disabled people in the South. The Digital Fundraising Manager will be responsible for the following priorities: Develop and implement a comprehensive digital fundraising plan to increase grassroots revenue Collaborate on multi-channel campaigns (email, social media, website) Coordinate with staff and partners to create compelling campaign messaging and stories Manage the digital donor pipeline from welcome series to appeals to donor stewardship Draft, schedule, and analyze email campaigns (including segmentation and A/B testing) Maintain and grow our online donation platforms and landing pages Support optimization of donation forms for accessibility, ease, and conversion Track and report donor data and trends using our CRM (e.g., Bloomerang, Action Network, etc.) Ensure donor data is clean, organized, and used for strategic segmentation Focus on list building, looking for trends in data and uplifting donors for cultivation Work closely with the development team to identify major donor prospects from digital giving pools SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES We’re looking for someone with the following qualifications: Have 3-5+ years of experience in nonprofit or political fundraising Have demonstrated success running digital fundraising programs through email, paid ads, peer-to-peer, and more Are a strong writer who can translate complex justice work into compelling fundraising appeals Understand donor psychology and grassroots donor cultivation Are comfortable using donor CRMs and email platforms (e.g., Bloomerang, Mailchimp, ActionNetwork) Are organized and deadline-driven, and can manage multiple projects at once Value disability justice, racial justice, and Southern organizing, and center accessibility in your work COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS We offer… 4-day, 32-hour workweek (Fridays off!) with flexibility to work how, when and where you want Open Paid Time Off/Sick Leave policy Platinum Medical Insurance (100% of premium covered for employees; 50% of premium covered for dependents) Dental, Vision, Life Insurance (100% of premium covered for both employees and dependents) $1,000/year professional development stipend $200 Work from home stipend $75 monthly Internet + phone stipend Parental Leave: NDS will pay 3 months Full Time off with Full Time pay and another 3 months Part Time hours with Full Time pay Medical Leave: We cover the salary differential for either Short Term Disability or Long Term Disability for 3 months or until the conclusion of the leave, whichever is shorter 2 months paid sabbatical after 4 years of service to NDS Over 3 weeks in organization-wide office closures, including a two-week winter break and 1 week summer break DO YOU THINK THIS MIGHT BE YOU?
