We are a leader in injection molding, known for comprehensive, value-added services focused on cosmetic parts, tight tolerance functional parts, and engineering grade resins. Role Description The Quality Engineer/CAPA serves as the primary point of contact for customers and other stakeholders in development of quality system processes and provides technical leadership to production groups to ensure customer requirements are understood and maintained. • Responsible for leading and ensuring the effective implementation of corrective and preventive action through root cause analysis. • Serves as point of contact for customer assessments, and other inquiries, to ensure customer needs are met. • Actively works with team members to improve company cost of quality and other key performance metrics. • Leads material review board (MRB) in analyzing and resolving quality issues. • Participates with engineering, quality and manufacturing/process team members in continuous improvement projects. • Reviews and drives improvements as needed to Certificate of Compliance from suppliers. • Provides technical support and training for production and quality assurance auditors to meet company product and process quality standards. • Leads the organization in Quality related training and process development to meet NBP product and process quality standards. • Serves as an internal auditor for the plant quality systems. Minimum Education/Training/Experience Required Bachelor’s degree in industrial or mechanical engineering, or relevant training and/or equivalent experience. 5 years of experience in quality within a manufacturing environment. Job Skills Requirements • Proficient in Microsoft Office and statistical packages. • Ability to effectively present technical information. • ASQ-Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) a plus. • Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP). • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Quality Management principles. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and statistical packages • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills • Strong communication and collaboration abilities • Experience in injection molding or related industry is a plus Benefits and Culture: Our employees are an asset, and we strive to attract, develop, motivate, and retain a talented workforce.
