Hourly Pay Range: $18.84 - $27.32 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: Position: Patient Care Tech/Unit Secretary, Cardiac Cath Lab Location: Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time Hours: Monday - Friday, Day-shift - 6 am start What you will do: This is a dual role, there will be some Unit Concierge/Secretary duties in combination of the Patient Care Tech duties. Please note: this is a full-time, days position starting at 6 am. Patient Care Tech Flow of work and character of duties involves normal mental, visual, auditory attention much or all of the time with manual dexterity is required for sustained periods of time. Requires visual acuity adequate to assess patients and read/record patient charts. Requires auditory acuity adequate to converse with patients, members of the healthcare team and coworkers who are wearing masks. Potential for exposure to blood, body fluids and other potentially infectious materials, chemicals and other hazardous conditions which may pose a health risk. Able to work under pressure to meet patient care needs. When in the clinical environment, must utilize appropriate patient movement equipment for patient-lifting and transfers when the transfer is a non-emergency situation. In an urgent event, may need to assist with lifting up to 50 pounds. When applicable, wear an N95 mask/PAPR and other PPE. Sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, lifting throughout the shift.
