(*in collaboration with AbbVie) About the Role: The Sr. Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for designing, operationalizing, managing and measuring assigned digital strategy and tactical plans for the marketing organization, inclusive of commercial brands. This role will report into the Patient Marketing Director and will have the opportunity to work with the cross functional team and the head of marketing to shape the strategy and success of the commercial team. Primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing content and digital marketing strategies to optimize our customer experience, increase marketing effectiveness and implement measurement & testing opportunities to advance the digital roadmap. This role will execute multi-lingual digital initiatives such as email, web, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, and social media to drive traffic, brand awareness, interest adoption and adherence among undiagnosed, diagnosed patients and care partners. This individual will gather and translate ideas into measurable, data-driven and high-impact digital campaigns. The Sr. Digital Marketing Manager will conduct ongoing analysis to assess channel/tactic effectiveness and has an opportunity to work with corporate marketing to maximize key initiatives and potentially develop new digital initiatives. _ Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to): Own the patient digital ecosystem in partnership with omnichannel strategist; Develops content & channel map aligned to strategic & channel priorities, inclusive of websites, social media presence, paid digital media, email, text, and other digital channels Manages digital media activities and partner with omnichannel strategist to translate strategy into executable audience segments, tactical media plan, and oversee digital media performance as part of omnichannel customer experience Develop compelling, compliant digital content aligned to a personalized patient journey that resonates with patient needs, ensures clinical accuracy, and addresses knowledge gaps Partner with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory teams to ensure all patient materials meet compliance requirements Partner with agency partners and digital operations teams to implement digital marketing content, leverage best practices, and understand in-market performance Collaborate with the HCP marketing, patient advocacy, and insights & analytics teams to develop insight-driven and cross-functionally aligned messaging across audience segments Design and contribute to the digital marketing team roadmap and growing set of capabilities Create and optimize compliant, efficient and impactful patient and physician journeys, leveraging CRM and other digital inputs Manage the function and output of the patient database. Work with brands to assess the success of key initiatives and lead/drive recommendations for optimization Examine effectiveness of current digital assets, including websites, SEM, SEO, social media, and content marketing Partner with brand teams and contribute to the strategic development and execution of marketing objectives; Participate in annual brand planning activities, including forecasts and budgeting Manage agency and vendor support through strong project management, budget management , cross-functional collaboration and communication skills Perform other digital marketing duties as assigned Requirements: BS/BA degree in Marketing, Business or related field. and 8+ years of relevant digital marketing experience, including digital channel expertise: paid media, CRM, social media and web. Experience with marketing automation and database management. Proven results with planning, execution and optimization of online marketing programs OR Master’s or MBA Preferred and 5+ years of similar experience noted above Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing within a pharmaceutical or biotech organization Understanding of customer dynamics within a highly regulated industry (preferred) Expert knowledge in web, email and/or social media content development Demonstrated proficiency in search engine marketing, display and/or other forms of paid media Strong knowledge of marketing automation and CRM integration Anticipates business and industry changes; recommends relevant process / technical / service improvements in their area of expertise Understand and can effectively synthesize broader and longer-term impact on division/company Demonstrates broad expertise or unique knowledge in marketing and communications Considered an expert within the company and may have external presence in area of expertise Applies in-depth knowledge in a discipline and broader application of other closely related areas Ability to work strategically and collaboratively as part of and/or lead multiple stakeholders Good leadership, mentoring skills and abilities to guide junior team members and/or vendors Excellent communications, problem-solving, analytical thinking skills Ability to manage complex timeliness acros a variety of projects/programs, with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency Excellent project management, strong project leadership skills #LI-JH1 Neurocrine Biosciences is an EEO/Disability/Vets employer. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 30% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program.
