Job Title: Project Manager / Business Solutions Analyst Location: Remote (California local candidates only) Employment Type: Contract Duration: 3 Years About the Role We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Business Solutions Analyst to support Agile-driven Business Intelligence (BI) initiatives for a California state agency. This role blends project management, agile delivery, and business analysis to guide BI solution design, development, testing, and deployment. The ideal candidate brings strong experience working in Agile environments, collaborating with Product Owners and technical teams, and delivering data-driven solutions that meet business and stakeholder needs. Key Responsibilities • Lead and support Agile IT projects involving design, configuration, implementation, and deployment of Business Intelligence solutions • Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Managers, and Architecture Owners to define: • Product vision and roadmap • User stories and backlog • Release and sprint plans • Serve as Scrum Master, Product Manager, or Product Owner as required by the project • Manage and maintain product and sprint backlogs using tools such as JIRA or ALM Octane • Coordinate and support testing activities to validate solutions against business requirements • Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives • Work closely with technical teams to ensure successful delivery of BI solutions Mandatory Skills & Qualifications • 10+ years of experience working as a Project Manager, Scrum Master, Product Manager, or Product Owner on Agile IT projects • 6+ years of experience on Agile software development projects supporting product vision, roadmaps, and sprint planning • Hands-on experience using JIRA or ALM Octane for backlog and sprint management • Experience with Business Intelligence platforms, such as: • Oracle BI (OBIEE r12) • Microsoft Power BI • Tableau or similar tools • Experience participating in at least two Agile software projects • Working knowledge of SQL, T-SQL, and/or PL/SQL • 4+ years of experience supporting test development and execution to ensure business requirement validation Highly Desirable Experience • Public-sector or state government project experience • Strong background in BI-focused Agile implementations • Certifications such as PMP or Oracle certifications Submission Requirements • Resume • Degree certificates (PDF format) • Certification copies (if applicable) • Professional references Why Join Us • Long-term engagement with a State of California agency • Fully remote work model (California-based) • Opportunity to work on enterprise-scale BI initiatives • Structured Agile environment with defined governance About NetworkPedia NetworkPedia is a certified women-owned technology and talent solutions company, providing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, managed services, and specialized recruitment across North Americas and beyond.
