We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our Research, Development and Innovations team. In the role of Wireless Solutions Product Manager, you will own, grown and drive development of next-generation products in the wireless solutions portfolio as part of the RF, Optical, and Connectivity Solutions (RFOCS) team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, possessing excellent leadership, and communication skills, with a proven track record of product management. Responsible for product line strategy, roadmap development, and lifecycle decisions across the wireless portfolio, you will ensure alignment with market demands, and customer needs to drive innovation, margin expansion, and market share gains. This role requires travel between our locations throughout the United States and Canada. Responsibilities • Product Strategy and Wireless Portfolio Management • Define wireless solutions product strategy and roadmaps, considering market trends, customer feedback, and competitive analysis. • Identify emerging technologies & market opportunities to drive innovation and enhance product portfolio to maintain a competitive edge. • Own end to end product lifecycle (concept -> business case -> NPI(new product introductions) -> ramp -> sustain -> EoL(end of life)). • Financial Performance and Performance Management • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for all products within the portfolio including revenue, product revenue mix %, revenue growth YoY%, gross margin, contribution margin, cost reduction %, ROI on NPI. • Manage forecasts, budgets, and business cases to support product investments and resource allocations. • Track product performance including quality compliance, return rate (RMA), field reliability and product compliance audit success rate. • Product Management • Develop portfolio pricing and profit margin strategies to align with overall corporate financial metrics. • Manage overall product quality & compliance within the portfolio. • Collaborate with cross-functional and external teams to ensure industry standard compliance (ie. GR-326, Telcordia, IEEE, ANSI, ISO/NEBS, UL/ETL/CSA) • Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence • Conduct market research and analysis initiatives with cross-functional teams, to identify market potential, market trends, customer needs and competitive landscape within the portfolio. • Utilize insights to make data-driven decisions regarding product positioning, and pricing. • Sales & Customer Engagement. • Ensure sales teams have necessary tools, resources, & training to effectively position products in the portfolio. • Act as the Subject Mater Expert and provide technical sales support to all cross-functional divisions. Education & Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Business, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience. • 2-4 years of experience in engineering, wireless / telecom and sales or customer support roles. • Strong technical background in telecommunication technologies, standards & protocols with the ability to disseminate industry best practice test standards across internal and external customers. • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire others. • Financial acumen with demonstrated success in pricing, portfolio optimization and margin management. • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving innovation. • Demonstrate integrity, respect for others and ethical behavior. • Proficient with SAP B1, MS Office suites and CRM tools. • Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management systems an asset. • Professional sales experience and understanding of sales and procurement processes is an asset.
