Job Description: We are seeking an Application Developer to build scalable applications that transform complex data into practical capabilities for mission users. In this role, you will work directly with data scientists and mission analysts to prototype, develop, integrate, test, deploy and maintain analytic tools within the customer's enterprise environment. The ideal candidate for this position will combine strong software development skills with an understanding of data science and machine learning, enabling them to turn analytical concepts into reliable, production-ready applications that enhanced mission workflows. Please consider applying if you meet the following qualifications. Required Qualifications: TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance. A Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science or a related field and five (5) years of relevant experience. Also acceptable are a Doctoral degree (PH.D.) and zero (0) years, a Master of Science (M.S.) degree and three (3) years, or an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree and seven (7) years of relevant experience. Strong proficiency with object-oriented languages like Java and Python. Experience with PySpark and distributed data processing. Experience using Jupyter Notebooks for development, analysis, prototyping, or data science workflows. Familiarity with machine learning concepts, data analysis, and data science methodologies. Experience working with customer-specific tools, enterprise architectures, data flows, and Big Data environments. Experience using GitLab, Jira, and Confluence or comparable development and collaboration platforms. Understanding of Agile software development methodologies. Desired Qualifications: Experience with artificial intelligence (AI) and using Large Language Models (LLMs).
