NETGEAR is seeking a highly driven and strategic Security Sales Account Executive to accelerate the growth of our cybersecurity portfolio, including SASE, Next-Generation Firewalls, Zero-Trust Network Access, Secure Web Gateways, VPNs, and SD-WAN solutions. As a senior leader in our security sales organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing regional and national sales strategies targeting Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and Small-to-Medium Businesses (SMBs). This is a high-impact, revenue-generating role with broad cross-functional influence, reporting directly into executive leadership. This position is remote and requires occasional travel to customer sites, channel partners, events, and team meetings. Key Responsibilities: Drive new business and expansion revenue by selling NETGEAR’s security solutions to MSPs and SMBs. Build, manage, and grow a pipeline of qualified opportunities across key accounts and verticals. Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and post-sale engagement in coordination with customer success and support teams. Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Sales Engineering teams to shape value propositions and customer-centric messaging. Create and execute strategic account and territory plans to achieve or exceed quarterly and annual targets. Cultivate long-term relationships with key decision-makers, IT executives, and security stakeholders. Engage with channel partners to drive co-selling opportunities, enablement, and demand generation activities. Represent NETGEAR at industry events, partner summits, and customer briefings. Maintain deep knowledge of the competitive landscape, industry trends, and evolving customer needs in the cybersecurity space. Provide actionable market and customer feedback to product and leadership teams to guide roadmap and go-to-market strategy. Lead and mentor regional sales team members, aligning efforts with broader business goals and KPIs. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. 10+ years of successful B2B sales experience in network security, cloud security, or cybersecurity domains. Proven track record of consistently exceeding multi-million-dollar quotas in selling to MSPs and/or SMBs. Deep understanding of: SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFWs) Zero-Trust Network Access (ZTNA) Secure Web Gateways (SWG) VPNs and SD-WAN Strong executive presence with the ability to engage and influence CIOs, CISOs, and IT directors. Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and build consensus across multiple stakeholders. Experience working with channel partners and value-added resellers (VARs) in a joint GTM model. Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills. Strong organizational and CRM (e.g., Salesforce) proficiency. Preferred Qualifications (optional): MBA or advanced business training. Experience launching new security products in high-growth or startup environments. Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2) relevant to SMBs and MSPs. Background in working with distributed or hybrid workforces, and remote-first security use cases. Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant are a plus.
