The Director of Sales, North American AV Sales, is responsible for driving NETGEAR’s growth in the Pro AV and Broadcast markets across the U.S. and Canada. This senior leadership role will oversee regional sales strategy, execution, and results. The Director will manage a team of Territory Managers (including Canada and U.S.), work closely with OEM, Distribution, Marketing, and Engineering leaders. This role requires a balance of strategic vision and hands-on leadership to expand NETGEAR’s footprint in AV over IP solutions and strengthen partnerships across the North American ecosystem. This is a remote-based role with travel required up to 50% of the time. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the overall North American AV sales strategy, including forecasting, territory planning, and vertical market expansion. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and grow the AV sales team across North America; set clear objectives and ensure alignment with company goals. Revenue Growth: Drive adoption of NETGEAR’s AV over IP solutions, consistently delivering against quarterly and annual sales targets. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with OEM, Distribution, Marketing, and Engineering to launch initiatives, execute go-to-market strategies, and support key accounts. Executive Engagement: Represent NETGEAR at industry events, conferences, and high-level customer meetings to reinforce our leadership position in AV networking solutions. Data-Driven Execution: Utilize Salesforce and other tools for pipeline management, forecasting, and performance measurement. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree 12+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the Pro AV or Broadcast markets. Demonstrated success leading and scaling sales teams across a multi-country region (U.S. and Canada preferred). Strong expertise in AV over IP technologies and a solid understanding of networking solutions. Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and building market share. Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills. Experience driving results through distributor and channel partnerships. Proficiency in Salesforce and sales analytics. Willingness to travel up to 50% across North America.
