Full Description

Job Description: • Build state-of-the-art UI features on Netflix’s leading TV application for performance- and memory-constrained devices • Collaborate with product, design, algorithm, and engineering partners to scope projects and build user experiences • A/B test product variants with real customers • Develop and maintain TypeScript/JavaScript code using React frameworks and Redux architecture for TV platforms • Test features with proprietary Jest-based automation frameworks • Write testable code and create automation to validate functionality in partnership with test engineers • Own feature quality and deliver measurable business impact Requirements: • 3+ years of experience working on consumer-facing products/apps • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript • Ability to navigate different languages and technology stacks, such as Node.js and GraphQL • Curiosity about how members use the application and eagerness to build product features • Ability to bring unique perspectives and balanced views to collaborations • Ability to value others’ perspectives when identifying solutions • Strong independence and bias toward action • Inclination for collaboration Benefits: • Health Plans • Mental Health support • 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match • Stock Option Program • Disability Programs • Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts • Family-forming benefits • Life and Serious Injury Benefits • Paid leave of absence programs • Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off, including vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off • Full-time salaried employees are immediately entitled to flexible time off • Accommodation/adjustment support during the hiring process
