Full Description

Netflix is looking for an experienced Lead Production Operations Manager to join Netflix Game Studios in delivering the next generation of video games for a worldwide audience. Game Production Operations aims to ensure games are delivered to the service on time and without unwanted surprises. The role sits at the nexus between game production and central partners at Netflix who support the release of games. We are looking for people who are comfortable working within ambiguity, building partnerships to remove it, and always taking constructive steps forward. The role will support the entire lifecycle of games from inception, to release, and the ongoing creation of post-release content always improving our operational excellence. Responsibilities • Develop the connective tissue across our games portfolio by building frameworks that maintain the rhythm of the business and drive continuous improvement to improve how we operate • Identify and drive cross functional initiatives that benefit both games and partner teams • Create clarity in requirements by solving operational challenges by pulling the right people together increasing predictability • Prevent surprises by mapping dependencies, navigating risks, and resolving ambiguity • Track and support development progress across our portfolio of games in all stages of development • Have a breadth of knowledge of the titles we are bringing to members • Form enduring partnerships across leadership, production, and central partners • Strong relationship building skills • Expert in change management with a collaborative approach to driving clarity from ambiguity • Proactive, precise communicator who seeks feedback to continuously improve • Brings strong player empathy and a people-centered mindset Requirements: • 12+ years experience in the gaming industry, working in game operations, program management, or production roles • Detailed knowledge of games lifecycle; software development best practices; project management methodologies and release management methodologies • Significant experience in Production, Project, or Program Management for software development; Technical Management experience is nice to have • Experience managing projects through the game development lifecycle • Experience with games across various genres from casual to core • Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously, preferably a mix of R&D and live service • Experience in partner management, internally or externally, working with licensors a plus • Management experience Location: Remote, US or Canada, must be able to travel quarterly Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $220,000-320,000. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
