This role leverages actionable insights to drive end-to-end optimization, identify and drive innovation, lead communications, and unlock consumer and customer value. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, and Finance is essential to ensure executional excellence of annual business plans.   Key Outputs: Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement long-term brand strategies that align with overall business goals. Lead high-impact, cross-functional projects and initiatives. Drive strategic partnerships and explore new market opportunities.   Advanced Business Planning: Oversee the entire P&L with a focus on long-term profitable growth. Develop and execute comprehensive business plans that include pricing, promotions, and product strategies. Lead the monthly operating process with a focus on strategic forecasting and risk management.   Innovation and Brand Development: Lead the development of innovative brand initiatives and product launches. Ensure the brand’s identity and messaging are consistent across all touchpoints. Drive the brand’s innovation strategy, including licensing agreements and strategic partnerships. Works to produce continuous growth out of total demand generation dollars; manages brand’s consumer marketing budget and demonstrates efficient and effective investment approach     Commercial Strategy: Develop and execute omni-channel strategies to maximize brand presence and sales. Analyze promotional programs to maximize effectiveness/efficiency and make on-going recommendations for improvement / investment   Translate the 3-year strategic plan into actionable annual plans that drive sales and marketing tactics. Develop big idea campaigns and use to drive annual strategy  Develop and monitor success of media plans    Talent Management: Lead by example to inspire, motivate and develop high-performing teams. Provide strategic direction and mentorship to managers and team members. Actively communicate expectations and provide regular feedback against those expectations through a robust performance management process, working with each team member to evaluate performance, provide feedback and training.  Drive talent recruitment and development initiatives to build a diverse and capable workforce.   Qualifications: Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) in Marketing or related business field; or equivalent experience. MBA preferred. DSD experience preferred Experience working with external agency partners preferred Knowledge of budget control methods, policies, and procedures. Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills. Strong research and strategic analysis skills. Ability to work independently, autonomously, and adapt quickly to change to deliver results. Must have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Basic financial acumen and understanding of calculating risk/return on business decisions. Ability to prioritize workload and self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks, and meet strict deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications. At least 5 years of work experience leading strategic work in product and brand management. Experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams and/or agency partners utilizing strong negotiation and relationship-building skills. Proven track record in leading marketing communication projects including digital and media strategies. Proven ability to leverage data, research, and market trends (IRI/Nielsen strongly preferred) to uncover insights into consumer behavior. Skilled at translating insights into both short‑ and long‑term strategies and driving those strategies across the full team.
