Full Description

Are you a proactive problem-solver who excels in fast-paced environments? If so, we want you to join our team as a Field Service Technician. As a key member of our service department, you'll be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of construction and crushing/screening equipment. Responsibilities: • Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose construction and crushing/screening equipment for needed repairs. • Perform designated repairs on customer or company-owned machines as directed, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards. • Conduct preventive maintenance and general machine upkeep to maximize equipment performance and longevity. • Utilize diagnostic laptop computers, gauges, and instruments to detect faults in machine systems such as electronics, hydraulics, power trains, and engines. • Occasionally operate machines to assess repair needs or performance issues. • Disassemble and assemble machines and components according to manufacturer specifications, utilizing hand tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized equipment provided by the company. • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to efficiently perform required maintenance and service tasks. • Research repair needs and order parts as necessary to ensure timely completion of repairs. Requirements: High school diploma or GED equivalent required; technical or vocational education is a plus. Three to five years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing heavy equipment. • Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair. • Basic welding skills and familiarity with tools and equipment commonly used in heavy equipment maintenance. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of organization. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction. • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, good work habits, and self-motivation to perform at the highest level.
