Develop detailed piping work scopes, integrate capital and maintenance planning, ensure safety compliance, coordinate procurement and scheduling, and maintain equipment task lists in SAP.
5+ years of piping experience in industrial settings, proficiency with SAP and Excel, ability to interpret P&IDs, and familiarity with scheduling and safety procedures.
Job Details Location: Lemont, IL Hours: M-F—40-50 hours per week. Duration: 1 year with possibility for extension or fulltime employment Pay: $60-$75/hr. depending on experience Job Responsibilities • Develop scope of work and detailed planning packages around piping. Take ownership for creation of all scope and support documentation. Integrate capital and maintenance work scope planning into TA planning/scheduling process. Apply procedures, standards, policies and rules sets which govern the planned scope so that compliance is a part of the planning and execution process. • Participate/lead in safety activities such as auditing, procedure review, PJSR, JSA reviews, Tool box talks, Contractor expectations meetings, Safety plan reviews and critiques • Ensure correct procurement of material, manpower, equipment, and tools to aid in the execution of work. • Support project controls in administering and analyzing cost, schedule and production tool sets. • Support development of the Yearly TA Medium Term Plan Budget by developing budgetary estimates • Develop and maintain equipment task list and bill of materials in SAP to improve planning and material procurement • Utilize SAP database for work history and workflow. • Scheduling and coordination of contract and Company personnel have a direct impact on efficiencies and cost of manpower, rental equipment, material delivery, and tool usage. Optimum efficiency is realized through the use of best practices for planning and execution of work. Planned work is safe work. Job Qualifications • Must have 5+ years of dedicated experience around piping in an industrial environment. • Must have extensive experience with preparing work packages, doing field walks, and interpreting P&IDs and measurements. • Must be well versed in Excel and other STO programs (ex: SAP, Prometheus, Primavera, etc.) • Previous experience with Blue Beam would be a big plus. • Previous industry experience within oil & gas would be a big plus. • Candidates local to the Chicagoland area are highly preferred.
