Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Artificial Intelligence & Automation Program Manager to lead our AI & Automation Initiatives and inform executive strategy for this high-profile program area. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical knowledge, project management skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to effectively introduce changes to business users. They will also possess a keen strategic understanding of the strategic application of this technology to meet business needs. Responsibilities • Program Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of AI and Automation projects. • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with ITD teams and external partners to define and clarify project scope and requirements, focusing on the customer to ensure their understanding of the implementation and usage of solutions. • Program Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to enhance organizational efficiency with Automation and AI technologies while ensuring effective governance and risk evaluation. • System Implementation: Lead the deployment solutions and monitor delivery of the portfolio. • Team Leadership: Lead a team of TxDOT ITD cross-matrixed specialists (such as Applications, Infrastructure, Change Management, etc.), providing guidance and support to achieve project goals. • Timeline and Budget Management: Monitor project timeline and budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control. • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. • Technical: Understanding of AI/ML & Automation technologies, platforms, and tools. • Reporting: Generate regular reports on project progress, highlighting key milestones and deliverables. Minimum Years of Experience, Skills, and Qualifications Level 2: 4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Qualifications • Education: Bachelor's degree in information management, computer science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical program delivery. • Technical Skills: Knowledge of AWS/Azure products including Copilot, Bedrock, SageMaker, Foundry, and UiPath. • Project Management: Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., PMP, Agile). • Communication: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. • Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects. • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy. #DICE #LI-MB
