Own and optimize conversation intelligence systems, analyze call patterns to inform coaching, and develop enablement assets to improve sales behaviors.
Experience in revenue or sales enablement, ownership of Gong or similar platforms, and strong analytical and communication skills.
NEOGOV is a fast-growing SaaS leader in the Public Sector and Public Safety space with a mission to serve the people who serve the people. Our clients use our software to manage the employee and officer lifecycle—from hire to retire—by streamlining processes in our centralized platform. We are passionate about technology, focused on customer success, and operate in an entrepreneurial environment where innovation is encouraged and rewarded. NEOGOV is one of the top 50 fastest growing private software companies in the U.S. We are looking for top talent to make significant contributions to our products, technology, and customers. The Opportunity We’re hiring an Enablement System & Conversation Intelligence Manager to own our conversation intelligence program and turn seller behaviors into repeatable, coachable plays. This is an Enablement role (not a traditional RevOps/BI role). You will manage and optimize Gong (our conversation intelligence system), drive adoption and coaching workflows, and surface the insights that directly shape training, manager coaching, and messaging. If you love building enablement systems that leaders actually use—and you can connect the “why” in the data to the “what” we teach—this role is for you. Preference for applicants who can commute to our headquarters in Draper, UT, but we are also open to applicants willing to travel onsite to Utah at least 4 times a year. This posting is for an existing vacancy.Conversation Intelligence System Ownership (Gong) • Own Gong end-to-end: configuration, user enablement, permissions, governance, and ongoing optimization. • Establish and maintain Gong standards (tagging taxonomy, trackers, scorecards, and call library structure) to ensure consistent, high-quality insights. • Build and maintain dashboards, streams, and scorecards that frontline managers and leaders use weekly. • Create system playbooks and run onboarding/enablement sessions (new manager training, refresher trainings, office hours) to drive strong adoption. • Partner with RevOps/IT on integrations and data hygiene (e.g., CRM alignment) so reporting is trustworthy and scalable. Enablement Insights to Action • Analyze call and deal patterns to identify the behaviors that correlate with higher conversion, larger deal sizes, and shorter sales cycles. • Translate insights into enablement assets: coaching guides, talk tracks, call review templates, micro-learnings, and reinforcement paths. • Support manager coaching excellence by packaging “what to coach” and “how to coach it” using Gong evidence and examples. • Maintain best-call and best-practice libraries that are easy to find, relevant, and actively used. Coaching & Call Quality Programs • Run call quality motions (calibration sessions, scoring alignment, and “great call” exemplars) to standardize expectations across teams. • Surface skill gaps and enablement opportunities across discovery, demo setup, pricing conversations, objection handling, and storytelling. • Track the impact of coaching and reinforcement, and recommend iterative improvements to programs and content. Cross-Functional Feedback Loop • Surface trends in messaging, objections, product questions, and competitive themes. • Partner with Product Marketing and Enablement to refine narratives, competitive positioning, and objection handling based on real calls. • Partner with Sales Leadership to operationalize insights into team-wide focus areas and performance rhythms. Executive Reporting & Enablement ROI • Deliver weekly/monthly/quarterly readouts that connect leading indicators (conversation behaviors) to lagging outcomes (pipeline and revenue). • Build scalable reporting frameworks to measure adoption, behavior change, and enablement impact over time. What Success Looks Like • Frontline managers rely on your Gong dashboards and scorecards weekly to coach the right behaviors. • Gong tagging, scorecards, and libraries are clean, consistent, and widely used—insights are trusted. • Enablement programs are grounded in real customer conversations, with clear evidence of behavior change over time. • Leaders have a simple, repeatable view of what is working, what is not, and where coaching focus should go next. • 4+ years in revenue enablement / sales enablement, enablement operations, sales coaching, or conversation intelligence program ownership (SaaS preferred). • 3+ years of hands-on experience owning Gong (or similar conversation intelligence platform), including building trackers, scorecards, dashboards/streams, and managing libraries and governance. • Proven ability to drive enablement system adoption through training, documentation, and change management (especially with frontline managers). • Strong analytical skills: comfortable identifying patterns, validating hypotheses, and connecting behaviors to outcomes (win rate, conversion, cycle time, deal risk). • Excellent communicator who can turn complex data into simple, actionable coaching and enablement recommendations. • Familiarity with sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC) and how to operationalize them through call behaviors, scorecards, and metrics. Nice to Have • Experience partnering with Product Marketing to evolve messaging using voice-of-customer insights. • Experience with Salesforce reporting or BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI) and/or basic SQL. • Experience building manager coaching programs, call review cadences, or certification workflows. • Competitive Wages • Comprehensive Benefits package (medical, dental, vision, etc.) for full-time employees effective Day 1 • Generous PTO to support work-life balance • 401K Matching • 12-week Paid Parental Leave • Autonomy to grow and find your career path with supportive leadership • Remote working opportunities • Inclusive and diverse work environment NEOGOV does not discriminate in employment on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), national origin, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, genetic information, age, membership in an employee organization, retaliation, parental status, military service, or other non-merit factors.
