Neil Kelly Company is seeking an experienced Home Improvement Project Manager to join our high-performing residential services team. What Your Day Will Look Like In this role, you’ll coordinate and manage multiple home improvement projects concurrently, ensuring smooth workflow, excellent communication, and dependable client service. You’ll partner closely with home improvement sales consultants, supervise field staff, and support trade contractors to keep projects on schedule and within budget. Daily responsibilities include scheduling, ordering materials, obtaining permits, verifying labor hours, tracking costs, maintaining client communication, and coordinating site readiness. You’ll work both in the field and in the office to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, professionally, and in alignment with Neil Kelly’s standards. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, personable, resourceful, tech-savvy, and experienced in residential construction or service-based project management. Regular travel to jobsites is required. Project Managers must have a good driving record, provide their own vehicle capable of transporting materials, and carry appropriate insurance. Skills You Bring * Experience in residential construction, remodeling, or handyman-level project management * Ability to lead and coordinate the work of field personnel and trade contractors * Strong scheduling, estimating, budgeting, and job-costing abilities * High-level customer service skills and the ability to maintain strong client relationships * Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and listening skills * Proficiency with computers and strong documentation habits * Ability to work collaboratively in a team-centered environment   As a Handyman Services Project Manager at Neil Kelly, You Will * Serve as the primary project lead, supporting clear communication among clients, sales consultants, carpenters, and trade contractors * Manage and coach field personnel, including performance management and training * Participate in estimating, reviewing specifications, and preparing questions prior to start * Order materials, coordinate permits, and prepare job information packets * Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle * Coordinate on-site layout and readiness for trade contractors * Monitor all job costs, update budgets, and ensure projects remain financially sound * Prepare and process change orders, approve invoices, verify timesheets, and handle client billing * Conduct safety inspections, uphold jobsite safety standards, and ensure final inspections and punch list completion * Build long-term client relationships and uphold Neil Kelly’s service standards   Why You’ll Love Working at Neil Kelly We offer a supportive, team-based culture and a benefits package that includes: * Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance + EAP * Flexible Spending & Health Savings Accounts * Paid holiday, sick, and vacation time * Cell phone stipend * Long-term disability & life insurance * 401(k) retirement plan * Vehicle stipend * Optional benefits such as Short-Term Disability, Legal, Pet Insurance, Accident, and Hospital Indemnity Insurance Compensation: Monthly base salary + commission, with a training salary during your onboarding period.
