Our mission is simple, “Helping Communities, Help People.” Headquartered in Atlanta, GA we offer a cloud-based technology platform for the administration and disbursement of governments funds for programs such as Housing, Economic, Community Development, Disaster Recovery/MIT, Home Energy Rebate Programs, and Housing Choice Voucher programs. We are looking for a Software Engineer II who can assist in the analysis, investigation, and resolution of platform production items to support neighbors (clients), client-success, and client-support teams. This role is open to ONLY candidates currently based in Georgia or those willing to relocate to the Atlanta metro area. What You Will Be Doing Key Responsibilities: Feature & Code Delivery Implement well-defined features, fixes, and enhancements following established coding standards and SDLC processes Participate in code reviews and apply feedback to improve code quality and consistency Support small automation or tooling enhancements for repetitive tasks Support, Troubleshooting &Operations Investigate and resolve assigned support tickets and basic production defects Perform initial debugging, contribute to RCA documentation for moderate-severity issues, and escalate complex cases appropriately Participate in on-call rotations and provide timely, clear updates during incident handling Collaboration & Process Alignment Work with Product, QA, Security, DevOps, and Client-Facing teams to clarify requirements and support issue investigations Follow established communication and incident-management processes to ensure consistent, reliable handoffs and responsiveness Contribute to maintaining documentation related to features, fixes, and operational learnings Qualifications BS/MS degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field 3+ years of relevant experience Proficiency in C#/.NET, React, Azure Services(preferred) or AWS Exposure to services in Azure (or equivalent in AWS): ADF, API-Management, Service Bus, Power BI, Azure Functions Experience working with monitoring tools App Insights etc. Familiarity with Azure DevOps, SDLC Tools like JIRA/Confluence Ability to debug and fix application issues Why You’ll Love Working Here: Comprehensive Benefits – Medical, Dental, Vision plan options and Company-Paid Short-Term Disability and Life Insurance 401K Contributions – Generous employer match with immediate vesting Generous Time Off – 5 weeks of PTO, 9 paid holidays, and 3 days of volunteer time off each year Neighborly Software is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
