This role involves developing finance business processes, integrations, and reports, while leading the functional track and collaborating with client business teams and IT teams to design, build, and test business processes end to end. Responsibilities • Develop finance business processes, integration, and reports end to end. • Lead the functional track and work with client business teams and IT teams on the design, build and testing of business processes end to end. • Strictly follow timelines and deliver quality work. • Research and resolve system problems, unexpected results or process flaws. • Recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet business objectives. • Troubleshoot data issues/corrections, Workday reporting and analytics, and security configs and changes. • Develop and document technical specifications, develop test conditions, conduct acceptance testing, and implement solutions. • Help troubleshoot issues and processes and drive toward resolutions. • Implement IT/business solutions in Workday Financials by building integrations, reports, and customizing business processes utilizing native Workday tools. • Run reports to detect changes in the system. • Performance tuning of reports and integration codes. • Translate business requirements to technical solutions. • Identify and address client needs, building solid relationships with clients. • Communicate with the client in an organized and knowledgeable manner. • Have knowledge and experience with full SDLC and support lifecycle including testing processes across project phases. • Be proficient in all delivered HCM processes and reports, suggesting best practices. Skills • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. • 5+ years of Information Technology experience • Overall 4 years of relevant experience in implementation, roll out, upgrade and support projects related to Workday Financials applications • Must have experience in Finance Modules (Oracle General Ledger, Account Payables, Account Receivables, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Tax, Expense, P2P Cycle and O2C Cycle) • Experience in Workday production support, including, but not limited to, researching, and resolving system problems, unexpected results or process flaws. Must be able to recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet business objectives. • Experience in troubleshooting data issues / corrections, Workday reporting and analytics and security configs and changes. • Develop and document technical specifications, develop test conditions, conduct acceptance testing, and implement solutions. Help troubleshoot issues and processes, and aggressively drive toward resolutions. • Proficient in Implementing IT/business Solution in Workday Financials building integrations, reports, customization of business process utilizing native Workday tools. • Strong hands-on experience in Workday technologies - Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Advanced Report Writer, Cloud Connect (PICOF, PECI, CCW, CCB), Business Process Framework, Configurable Security, Calculated Fields, Custom fields, XML/XSLT, Studio, BIRT Reporting & data analytics • Proficient in running reports to detect changes in the system from time to time • Proficient in performance tuning of reports and integration codes • Must be able to translate business requirements to technical solutions. • Must be knowledgeable in Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps methodologies. • Identifying and addressing client needs, building solid relationships with clients communicating with the client in an organized and knowledgeable manner. • Knowledge and experience with full SDLC and support lifecycle including experience in testing process across the project phases. • Candidate should be proficient in all the delivered HCM processes and reports, suggest best practices. • Experience in working in teams on large and complex ERP projects • Good understanding of integrations and data flows with third-party systems • Leadership and understanding of Agile techniques desirable (e.g. BDD, TDD) • An in-depth understanding of the end to end software development lifecycle (SDLC), with a focus on transitioning to Agile methodologies especially Agile test management • Knowledge of end to end functional flows in finance modules such as Oracle General Ledger, Account Payables, Account Receivables, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Tax, Expense, P2P Cycle and O2C Cycle etc. • Must have very good testing process knowledge including hand-on experience across testing phases and testing tools • Exceptional communications skills both written and verbal Company Overview • Neer Info Solutions is a boutique executive search firm and has been in the search industry since 2005.
