NearU is hiring a proactive and analytical Senior Procurement Analyst to strengthen our supply chain strategy and vendor performance programs. This role goes beyond compiling data - it's about interpreting trends, influencing sourcing decisions, and driving measurable outcomes that impact the bottom line. The ideal candidate will evaluate supplier performance, benchmark market pricing, and collaborate with Operations and Finance to optimize costs, mitigate risks, and improve program compliance. This position requires strong analytical judgment, curiosity, and the ability to turn insights into action. NearU is a people-centric, process-driven, and technology-enabled customer service platform dedicated to revolutionizing the home services industry by vastly improving the customer and employee experience. Duties/Responsibilities: • Conduct current state vendor analysis and rationalization. • Analyze spend data to identify cost-reduction, rebate, and consolidation opportunities across categories. • Evaluate supplier performance using KPIs (cost & service level metrics) and develop recommendations for improvement. • Negotiate and maintain B2B procurement contracts with main suppliers. Identifying cost savings opportunities and tracking savings realization • Conduct market and pricing analysis to support sourcing strategies and vendor negotiations. • Partner with Operations to validate field-level feedback and drive adoption of preferred supplier programs. • Support negotiation preparation by modeling financial impacts, forecasting rebate potential, and analyzing supplier proposals. • Development of supplier scorecards and performance metrics • Present data-driven recommendations to leadership for supplier changes, sourcing strategy, or risk mitigation. • Collaborate with Finance to ensure vendor program alignment with budgeting and financial reporting. • Continuously assess and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency, compliance, and visibility. • Develop and implement purchasing policies, processes, and procedures for the company and sites • Reduce inventory with the use of VMI programs and efficient stocking • Reports to the Sr. Director of Risk, who reports to the CFO Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's or similar degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and make sound recommendations. • Proven ability to blend data analysis with strategic thinking and hands-on execution. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to translate insights into actionable business strategies. • Highly organized, with a bias for accuracy and follow-through. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI (or similar data visualization tools). • Familiarity with procurement, supply chain management, or vendor performance programs. Preferred Experience: • Experience in Sage Accounting Software, and Service Titan field software is preferred. • 2-5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management or finance, ideally in construction, HVAC, electrical, or a related industry.
