TITLE: Distr Material Handler LOCATION: Alpharetta, GA GRADE: 6 POSITION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: • Position responsible for checking and stocking for orders; Completes all checking/verifying of parts and stocking of all parts by 9am • Requires lifting of 50lbs or less and use of pallet jack • Picking up WR and Vendor items hourly • Picking up Fallouts from Fulfillment and Burn • Putting unit’s from repair lines into Burn hourly • Picking up repaired units and moving into correct cart locations in burn on a hourly routine • Place materials in appropriate area; stocking of items in correct line stock locations • Maintain accurate inventory; Use scanner to enter product into inventory and double check inventory • All operations are to be performed in the safest manner using any protective equipment necessary • Forklift driving required we will train, maintains equipment; Ensures that equipment runs in accordance with operational standards; • Comply with Depot Center policies, ESD requirements, process and workmanship standards • Inspects product based on quality checklist; notifies supervisor of any discrepancies; Records inventory transactions • Makes routine adjustments to work area labels or printers • May require mandatory Overtime coming in early and staying late due to work load Basic Qualifications: • Ability to operate tools like a screwdriver • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently • Able to work standing or walking for 8-10 hour shift (breaks every 2-4 hours). • Ability work a schedule of 7am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday.
