Overview Due to growth, we are adding a Supervisor, Referral Coordinator to our team! The Supervisor, Referral Coordinator (SRC) is responsible for day-to-day leadership/support of Referral Coordinator staff members. The Supervisor, Referral Coordinator is responsible for ensuring staff comprehension. The SRC is responsible for ensuring service levels are met consistently though support of workflow/scheduling practices, training and staff evaluations. The SRC is responsible for tracking, trending, and reporting metrics as well as defining and implementing timely plans to resolve opportunities with staff. The SRC will assist in processing all inbound specialty prescriptions from referring prescribers. They are tasked with coordinating and assuring the smooth flow of the prescription referral and prior authorization process to meet the needs of patients while establishing collaborative relationships and communication with the prescriber’s office. Consistently document and retain records of all training, reviews, and feedback with Specialists Coach, motivate and develop staff to produce outstanding results Communication and coordination with hiring/temp agencies Act as a prompt escalation resource for calls or department issues or supervisor calls Assist with the development and maintenance of training resources for staff Coordinate and confirm with patients’ prescription deliveries Initiate contact and create new potential clinic/prescriber relationships Communicate current and relevant prescription, insurance and financial needs as they relate to appropriate pharmacists, providers, clinical support staff and patients Interacts with clinic employees, including but not limited to pharmacists, clinical staff, fiscal personnel, department managers, access services staff, coding staff, and billing assistants. External contacts include but are not limited to third party payers, manufacturers, prescription benefit management companies, external pharmacy personnel, and referring providers and their support staff Other duties as assigned Qualifications What our team expects from you? High School or equivalent required, associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. Certified CPhT or licensed Medical Assistant preferred At least 2 years’ experience in specialty pharmacy, customer service, or medical office required Operation of general office equipment to include telephone systems, fax, and copiers Proficiency in use of PC software to support activities Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees What can you expect from Lumicera?
