Job Title: Systems Analyst Location: Austin, TX 78751 Duration: 10 Months Interview Type: Microsoft Teams (Virtual) Work Arrangement: Remote (may transition to hybrid; specific in-office days will be discussed if applicable) PayRate: From $80/hr on C2C [W2 Rates will be different] Job Description We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to join a dynamic technology team supporting enterprise financial systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Accounts Receivable and Billing modules, with proven expertise in business analysis, requirements gathering, and system integration. This position involves collaborating closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to analyze user needs, enhance system functionality, and support the successful implementation of new and existing system processes. Level Description • Requires 8 or more years of relevant experience. • Must be capable of independent work, applying judgment, creativity, and initiative to accomplish goals. • Performs a variety of complex analytical and technical tasks with minimal supervision. • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected in the role. Responsibilities • Understand business objectives and identify alternative solutions for system improvement. • Conduct requirements analysis, including workflow review, system capabilities evaluation, and cost/benefit analysis. • Meet with end-users and department personnel to determine current operational procedures and areas for optimization. • Document user requirements, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer systems. • Evaluate system specifications, scheduling, and capabilities to determine feasibility of requested enhancements. • Serve as the functional business analyst for PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Accounts Receivable and Billing modules. • Perform fit-gap analyses, map data between legacy and third-party systems, and ensure smooth system integration. • Lead and participate in meetings to gather business requirements and create detailed documentation. • Conduct end-to-end system and integration testing, including with third-party interfaces. • Support training, system documentation, and other project-related deliverables. • Work collaboratively with remote and onsite teams to meet project goals and deadlines. • Perform other duties as assigned, including potential after-hours work based on project needs. Required Qualifications • Minimum 8 years of experience as a business analyst with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2. • Minimum 8 years of experience implementing Accounts Receivable and Billing modules. • Minimum 8 years of experience conducting requirements gathering and fit-gap analysis with subject matter experts. • Minimum 8 years of experience performing end-to-end system integration testing, including third-party interface testing. • Proficiency in Microsoft O365 applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio (at least 4 years of experience). • Experience using Microsoft Teams in large, collaborative team environments (at least 2 years of experience). Preferred Qualifications • Experience working with public sector organizations such as federal, state, or local government agencies (4 years preferred). • Experience as a business analyst in General Ledger (2 years preferred). • Experience with the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS Financials system (2 years preferred). • Experience with PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE) (2 years preferred). • Experience using SharePoint (2 years preferred). • Experience using Jira (1 year preferred). • Familiarity with the Scrum framework (1 year preferred).
