IT Project Manager / Scrum Master / Product Owner Location: Houston, TX 77024 Type: Contract Experience: 5+ years Overview: Lead enterprise healthcare IT initiatives—including EHR upgrades, data modernization, cybersecurity, and interoperability projects—from initiation through go-live and adoption. Ensure project governance, clinical continuity, and compliance while partnering closely with clinical and technical stakeholders. Responsibilities: • Lead full project lifecycle activities: initiation, planning, governance, risk/issue mitigation, and stakeholder communication. • Manage cross-functional teams including clinical SMEs, technical leads, vendors, and operational leadership. • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Scrum) and serve as Scrum Master or Product Owner as needed. • Drive change management efforts, training plans, and adoption metrics for clinical rollouts. • Prepare and deliver executive-level status reports, dashboards, and presentations. • Oversee project budgets, schedules, resource planning, and scope management. Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of IT project leadership experience within healthcare environments. • Hands-on experience with EHR implementations, optimization, and clinical workflow change management. • Experience supporting EHR workflow training and clinician education. • PMP, CSM, SAFe, or equivalent certifications preferred. Tools & Systems: JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, ServiceNow, Epic project tools, PowerPoint, Excel.
