Contract Recruiter – IT Sales & Professional Services Engagement Type: Contract (3 Months) Location: 100% Remote (U.S. or Global) Start: Immediate Openings: Multiple We are a fast-growing IT staffing and professional services firm experiencing a significant increase in demand. To support our growth, we are seeking an experienced Contract Recruiter to help identify, engage, and vet senior sales professionals with backgrounds in IT contract staffing and professional services. This is a hands-on, full-cycle recruiting role focused specifically on internal hiring; not external candidate placements. The recruiters in this role will be responsible for building pipelines of highly experienced sales talent, many of whom will bring established relationships, industry credibility, and a proven book of business. This is an ideal opportunity for recruiters who thrive in a fast-paced environment, are comfortable recruiting senior-level talent, and can operate independently with minimal oversight. You are able to be part time in this role as well. Key Responsibilities • Source, identify, and engage experienced IT staffing and professional services sales professionals • Conduct proactive outreach via LinkedIn, referrals, databases, and professional networks • Lead initial screening and qualification conversations, assessing: • IT staffing and professional services experience • Sales background and market credibility • Existing book of business or client relationships • Vet candidates thoroughly, including: • Background validation • Employment history verification • Experience testing and qualification where applicable • Evaluate candidates for cultural fit, professionalism, and ability to operate in a remote environment • Present qualified candidates to the VP and leadership team with clear summaries and recommendations • Maintain accurate documentation of outreach, conversations, and candidate status • Move quickly while maintaining quality in a high-volume, high-priority environment Required Qualifications • Proven experience as a recruiter in IT contract staffing and/or professional services • Demonstrated success recruiting sales professionals (Account Executives, Business Development Managers, Account Managers, etc.) • Strong understanding of the IT staffing sales lifecycle, including contract staffing and professional services models • Ability to assess senior-level candidates with established industry experience • Strong communication, interviewing, and candidate evaluation skills • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple searches concurrently • Experience recruiting for remote roles across geographies Preferred Qualifications • Prior experience recruiting internal sales teams for staffing or consulting firms • Existing network of IT staffing or professional services sales professionals • Experience supporting fast-growing or high-volume organizations • Familiarity with ATS/CRM systems and structured recruiting processes
