Job Title: SAP Junior Technical Support Engineer Location: Remote (Quarterly Travel Required at Own Expense) Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension) Work Schedule: 40 Hours per Week Time Zone Requirement: Must Reside in Eastern Time Zone Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SAP Junior Technical Support Engineer to support modernization, migration, and implementation initiatives for financial and HR systems. The role focuses on configuring, maintaining, and enhancing SAP ECC HR modules while ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state regulations and maintaining business continuity. The ideal candidate will collaborate with HR, IT, and Finance teams to optimize workflows, improve data quality, and deliver technical solutions aligned with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities • Configure, maintain, and support SAP ECC HR modules and related systems. • Assist in workflow optimization, automation initiatives, and system enhancements to streamline HR processes. • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system updates and changes. • Monitor and improve data accuracy, integrity, and reporting using SAP tools, Excel, and Power BI. • Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support to end users. • Develop and maintain documentation, including SOPs, configuration documentation, and user guides. • Support audit and compliance activities, ensuring adherence to security standards such as NIST 800-53 and FISMA. • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and implement technical solutions. • Track system enhancements and issues using ticketing and change management tools. Required Skills & Qualifications • Experience supporting SAP HR or SAP ECC environments. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving skills. • Knowledge of system testing methodologies and documentation best practices. • Experience with data reporting and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI). • Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53, FISMA). • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
