Northlake House is seeking an energetic, self-starter to join our team! We need a friendly and helpful Concierge/Receptionist to greet visitors, assist or direct resident requests as appropriate, answer incoming phone calls with professionalism and direct the calls to appropriate staff members. The ideal candidate will be service-oriented with exceptional communication skills, demonstrated leadership ability, and a commitment to excellence. This is a Full-Time opportunity to support our residents, visitors, and Team Members! Must be available to work some weekends! Candidates will need to be able to sit for long periods of time, sit and stand frequently, multitask, perform light administrative duties, and conduct community tours for family members and visitors on occasion. Responsibilities: • Operate community telephone and paging systems efficiently and transmit calls and messages promptly and accurately. • Greet and direct visitors in a professional, friendly, and hospitable manner. • Ensure residents and guests sign in and out of the house. • Answer inquiries according to established procedures relative to HIPAA guidelines. • Handle inquiries in a positive manner and obtain necessary information for follow-up. • Notify the Supervisor in Charge (SIC) of Resident requests for assistance in a timely manner. • Receive, sort, and distribute mail. • Assist in ordering, receiving, stocking, and distributing office supplies. • Receive payments on accounts and issue receipts. • Enter requests for transportation to medical appointments in the transportation schedule. • Perform general office duties (e.g. copy, file, fax) Requirements • High School diploma or equivalent required. • Experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or service environment preferred. • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to work in an environment conducive to caring for residents without posing a substantial safety or health threat to self or others. • Ability to work well with others and promote a team environment.
