About Our ClientOur client is a rapidly rebooting EdTech company with a patented, research-backed literacy program that helps children ages 6–12 become confident, fluent readers. This program is highly effective, with a history of success in institutional settings. They are now pivoting to an aggressive B2C model, aiming to bring this powerful literacy tool directly to families. This is a crucial early-stage hire, providing the opportunity to partner directly with the founder and become the strategic owner of the entire marketing and customer acquisition engine.The OpportunityOur client is seeking a versatile, data-driven Growth Marketing Manager or Director—depending on experience—to be the next full-time employee and lead their customer acquisition strategy. This is a role for an entrepreneurial, hands-on leader who will be responsible for defining, launching, and scaling all direct-to-consumer marketing efforts across the entire funnel. The successful candidate will own the budget, execute campaigns, and drive measurable revenue growth from day one.What You Will Do • Build, launch, and manage end-to-end B2C customer acquisition campaigns across all channels, including digital (Paid Social: TikTok, Instagram, YouTube; SEM, Email, Influencer Marketing) and offline (Direct Mail, Print). • Research, test, and optimize marketing messages and channels to effectively reach key target audiences: homeschool parents, special education families, ESL communities, and families seeking supplemental literacy support. • Own and rigorously track key performance indicators (KPIs) including Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), and Customer Lifetime Value (LTV). • Manage the marketing budget, forecast spend, allocate resources across channels, and continuously improve overall campaign ROI. • Implement a constant testing and optimization framework for landing pages, ad copy, creative assets, and channel mix to maximize conversion rates and scale profitable channels. • Work closely with the founder and other team members to ensure marketing efforts align with product goals and business objectives. Who You Are • 7+ years of progressive B2C marketing experience with a primary focus on driving customer acquisition and revenue growth. • Proven success in digital marketing, with hands-on experience managing and scaling paid campaigns across major platforms (e.g., Google/Meta Ads, TikTok, YouTube). • Experience in integrating and measuring offline marketing channels (e.g., Direct Mail, Print Ads) as part of a cohesive acquisition strategy. • Highly data-driven and analytical—fluent in performance metrics, adept at using testing tools, and comfortable turning data into actionable growth strategies. • Experience managing a marketing budget and demonstrating positive ROI. • A self-starter and entrepreneurial thinker who thrives in a fast-moving, lean environment where you own the results.
