Contingent upon contract award Position Title: UI/UX Specialist Location: Remote (occasional site visits to Falls Church, VA 22042 as required) Clearance: Secret eligibility required Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required Required Certifications: None specified Role Summary: The UI/UX Specialist will design intuitive and accessible interfaces for data discovery, dashboards, and decision-support tools. This role ensures systems are user-friendly and support diverse stakeholder groups. Responsibilities: • Create wireframes, prototypes, and user interface designs. • Conduct user research and usability testing. • Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508). • Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and program staff. • Deliver design specifications and style guides. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field. • 3+ years of UI/UX design experience. • Proficiency with design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch). • Strong communication and presentation skills. • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience designing for federal or enterprise data platforms. • Knowledge of accessibility standards and compliance requirements. • Familiarity with healthcare or defense mission environments.
