Technical Infrastructure Architect – Senior Security Clearance: Top Secret, Tier 5 (T5) Investigation Location: 100% Remote (must be within commutable distance to Northern Virginia) Overview Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking a Senior Technical Infrastructure Architect for a potential opportunity. The selected candidate will ensure the stable operation of in-house computer systems and network connections. Responsibilities include planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing all network software and communication links to support operational requirements. Key Responsibilities • Organize and direct the configuration and operation of information management systems. • Analyze and resolve end-user software and connectivity issues. • Conduct capacity and performance analysis; recommend system configuration changes and upgrades. • Improve system administrator efficiency through automated tools, scripts, procedures, and training. • Deliver end-user training as required. • Provide technology recommendations aligned with business strategy. • Provide local and remote maintenance support for operational systems deployed across multiple locations. • Support general maintenance, upgrades, and installation of servers and applications. • Apply advanced technical knowledge in application networking, including load balancing and fault tolerance. • Perform vulnerability management and security-related system tasks. Required Qualifications • Education: BA/BS in a technical discipline. • Experience: • 10+ years of specialized experience in Information Processing, covering a wide range of hardware/software solutions. • At least 4+ years of hands-on experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting diverse software systems. • Experience directing system administrators in day-to-day operations, system/resource optimization, and user support. • Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance required. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
