Job Title: Campus Janitorial and Food & Beverage Manager Company Overview: The National Western Center (NWC) is a dynamic 250-acre campus located in Denver, Colorado, dedicated to food and agricultural discovery. As a hub for innovation and community engagement, NWC hosts a variety of events and programs that celebrate the heritage and future of agriculture and food industries. Role Overview: As the Campus Janitorial and Food & Beverage Manager, you will oversee the cleanliness and food service operations across the campus. Your role is vital in ensuring a safe, welcoming, and high-quality environment for visitors, staff, and event participants. What You'll Do: - You will manage and coordinate janitorial services to maintain campus cleanliness and hygiene standards. - You will oversee food and beverage operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. - You will develop and implement operational procedures to enhance service quality and efficiency. - You will lead, train, and supervise janitorial and food service staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences. - You will collaborate with event coordinators to support food and cleaning needs during campus events. - You will monitor inventory and order supplies to maintain adequate stock levels. - You will handle budgeting and cost control for janitorial and food service departments. - You will address and resolve any operational issues promptly to maintain smooth campus operations. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in janitorial management and food & beverage operations. - Strong knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards in food service and cleaning. - Proven leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams. - Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in budgeting and inventory management. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in large campus or event venue settings. - Certification in food safety or sanitation management. - Familiarity with sustainable and eco-friendly cleaning practices. - Experience with vendor management and contract negotiations.
