Job Title: Campus Conversion & Room Set Manager Company Overview: The National Western Center (NWC) is a dynamic 250-acre campus located in Denver, Colorado, dedicated to becoming the global destination for food and agricultural discovery. Home to the National Western Stock Show and Colorado State University’s Spur campus, NWC is a hub for innovation, education, and community engagement in the agricultural sector. Role Overview: As the Campus Conversion & Room Set Manager, you will play a critical role in managing the transformation and setup of campus spaces to support a variety of events and activities. Your work ensures that all rooms and venues are prepared efficiently and to the highest standards, enhancing the experience for all campus users. What You'll Do: - You will oversee the planning and execution of room setups and campus conversions for events and daily operations. - You will coordinate with multiple departments and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate room configurations. - You will manage inventory and maintenance of furniture, equipment, and supplies used in room setups. - You will develop and implement procedures to optimize room setup processes and improve efficiency. - You will supervise and train a team responsible for room setups and campus conversions. - You will troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to room configurations during events. - You will maintain detailed records of room setups, conversions, and equipment usage. - You will ensure compliance with safety standards and campus policies during all setup activities. What You Bring: - You have at least 3 years of experience in event setup, facilities management, or a related field. - You possess strong organizational and project management skills. - You have excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to coordinate with diverse teams. - You are proficient in using scheduling and inventory management software. - You demonstrate leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate a team. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a large campus or event venue environment. - Knowledge of audio-visual equipment and technical setup requirements. - Certification in facilities management or event planning. - Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in public venues.
