Job Title: Campus Conversion & Room Set Manager Company Overview: The National Western Center (NWC) is a dynamic 250-acre campus located in Denver, Colorado, dedicated to food and agricultural discovery. As the new home of the National Western Stock Show and Colorado State University’s Spur campus, NWC is a vibrant hub for innovation, education, and community engagement. Role Overview: As the Campus Conversion & Room Set Manager, you will play a critical role in managing the transformation and setup of campus spaces to support a variety of events and activities. Your work ensures that all rooms and venues are prepared efficiently and to the highest standards, enhancing the experience for all campus users. What You'll Do: - You will coordinate and oversee the conversion of campus spaces between events, ensuring timely and accurate room setups. - You will manage a team responsible for room configurations, furniture placement, and equipment setup. - You will collaborate with event planners and campus stakeholders to understand specific room requirements. - You will maintain inventory of furniture and equipment, ensuring all items are in good condition and available when needed. - You will develop and implement standard operating procedures for room setups and conversions. - You will troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to room configurations during events. - You will ensure compliance with safety regulations and accessibility standards in all setups. - You will provide training and support to staff on best practices for room conversion and setup. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years experience in event setup, facilities management, or a related field. - Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams. - Proficiency with inventory management and scheduling software. - Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a large campus or event venue setting. - Knowledge of audio-visual equipment and technology setups. - Certification in facilities management or event planning. - Familiarity with safety and accessibility compliance standards.
