Role Overview: As the Campus Conversion & Room Set Manager, you will play a critical role in managing the transformation and setup of campus spaces to support a variety of events and activities. Your expertise will ensure that all room configurations meet the specific needs of each event, contributing to the seamless operation and success of the campus. What You'll Do: - You will oversee the planning and execution of room setups and conversions across the campus. - You will coordinate with event planners, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate room configurations. - You will manage a team responsible for physical setup, including furniture arrangement, audiovisual equipment, and signage. - You will develop and maintain detailed setup plans and schedules for all campus events. - You will troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to room setups during events. - You will ensure compliance with safety standards and accessibility requirements in all setups. - You will maintain inventory of setup materials and equipment, coordinating repairs and replacements as needed. - You will provide training and guidance to staff on best practices for room setup and conversion. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years experience in event setup, facilities management, or a related field. - Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. - Proficiency in using scheduling and event management software. - Knowledge of safety regulations and accessibility standards. - Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a large campus or convention center environment. - Familiarity with audiovisual equipment and technology setups. - Certification in facilities management or event planning. - Experience with inventory management systems.
