Job Title: Campus Conversion & Room Set Manager Company Overview: The National Western Center (NWC) is a dynamic 250-acre campus located in Denver, Colorado, dedicated to food and agricultural discovery. As the new home of the National Western Stock Show and Colorado State University’s Spur campus, NWC is a hub for innovation, education, and community engagement in the agricultural sector. Role Overview: As the Campus Conversion & Room Set Manager, you will play a critical role in managing the transformation and setup of campus spaces to support a variety of events and activities. Your work ensures that all rooms and venues are prepared efficiently and to the highest standards, enhancing the experience for all campus users. What You'll Do: - You will coordinate and oversee the conversion of campus spaces to meet event and operational requirements. - You will manage room setups, including furniture arrangement, audiovisual equipment, and signage. - You will collaborate with event planners, facilities teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless execution. - You will develop and maintain detailed schedules and plans for room conversions. - You will supervise and train staff involved in room setup and conversion tasks. - You will monitor inventory and order supplies as needed to support room setups. - You will ensure compliance with safety standards and campus policies during all conversion activities. - You will troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during room setup and conversion processes. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in event setup, facilities management, or a related field. - Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams. - Proficiency with scheduling software and basic audiovisual equipment. - Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a large campus or event venue setting. - Knowledge of food and agricultural event requirements. - Certification in facilities management or event planning. - Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
